Global time attack challenge

The Grid

Nine markers, one lap each way, and a GPS time. Set up the grid, ride it and send in your best.

The challenge

Inspired by the Global T-Race

This challenge is directly inspired by the Global T-Race Challenge, created to provide a consistent, accessible format for time-based PEV racing around the world. The Grid follows the same core methodology, using standardised marker layouts and GPS timing, but offers a larger, alternate layout with a bit more flow.

It is not intended as an improvement, but simply a different take on the same spirit of global competition.

Track setup

How to lay out the track

Place 9 markers in a 3×3 square grid, with each marker 20 metres from the next in both directions. Then ride the course shown in the clockwise diagram. The counter-clockwise layout is a mirrored version of the official course, so riding it balances heelside and toeside turns.

The clockwise course: a looping line weaving around the nine markers, with the start and finish line on the left and an arrow showing the riding direction
2. Clockwise (original)The official course. Start and finish on the left, riding up.
The counter-clockwise course: the mirror image of the clockwise course, with the start and finish line on the right and an arrow showing the riding direction
